Kanye West & Kid Cudi - Kid’s See Ghost’s Sometimes.... A Thread.

Prior to Kid’s See Ghosts, Kanye and Kid Cudi made a variety of collaborations together over many years. Tracks such as: Father Stretch My Hands P1, Georgeous and Welcome To Heartbreak showcased there elite chemistry, leaving fans hopeful for a full collaborative album.

Kanye and Kid Cudi’s relationship has faced some challenges throughout both of their careers, however at the Sacramento stop of the ‘Saint Pablo’ tour, they squashed their beef live in front of a sold out arena.

The album announcement - On April 19th 2018, Kanye took to Twitter to announce the collaborative album and group name. The album was slated for a June 8th 2018 release, 1 week after Kanye’s solo album Ye’s release.

Wyoming - As well as Kid’s See Ghost’s, Kanye would produced and co created Pusha T’s Daytona, Nas’ Nasir, Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E as well as creating his own solo album - Ye. These albums all released one week after each other in May/June of 2018.

Ye/Ghost Town - On Kanye’s album Ye, the sixth track would give us our first taste into KSG on the track titled ‘Ghost Town’ featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and the other half of Kid’s See Ghosts - Kid Cudi.

Kid’s See Ghosts - On June 8th 2018, the album released. The album cover was designed by Takashi Murukami and the album was 7 tracks long featuring Pusha T, Ty Dolla Sign, Louis Prima and Yasiin Bey.

Camp Flog Gnaw - Kanye West and Kid Cudi would perform there only ‘Kid’s See Ghost’s’ show to date at Tyler The Creator’s festival- Camp Flog Gnaw. A performance nothing short of legendary.

In my opinion, Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s Kid’s See Ghost’s album is fantastic. The album showcases Kanye and Cudi’s elite chemistry and they both bring the best out of each other in each song on the 7 track album. KSG is a perfect example of Quality > Quantity.
